As a result you must be simultaneously both master and witness of this incredible journey.
Never favoring or accepting one too much: one seeding sloth and lethargy the other fertilizing jadedness and anger.
Sometimes applying your unbending will.
Sometimes only witnessing the will of other forces and bending with your acceptance like a well rooted tree.
Or you can simply chose to seek safety in ignorance and all the sanctity it affords.
Because it seems there are many huddled there.
But remember all the fish in the school will eventually fear much alone. Everyone will meet our maker and count our moments value.
So what possible reason could cause us to drop this protective veil of ignorance and apathy, that numbs our care protecting our fragile hearts?
Why risk exposing ourselves by caring and then realizing there is nothing to care about?
After all if i do not care I will not be harmed.
Why risk creating this empty void by caring? Why risk this defensive illusion that protects us from the ultimate and haunting feeling that this is it….
and nothing else?
If id do not try i will not lose.
So we think.
And if we do and then lose, we will not try again and therefore risk nothing. Except of course for all the experiences and fortunes you forfeit by not trying again.
This is a regretful life.
