I will not indulge in self pity
Self pity is a self exclusive luxury. As i can assure you desperation takes far more energy then one has available for waste.
As a result self pity can only be a lie.
If the situation you face can be overcome with an impeccable spirit then why surrender to self pity and the false victory it affords.
Excessive self pity is self serving and only expresses that your needs are paramount to the needs of others.
One must recognize that at some times you must consider your well being and account for the impacts of others. and sure self pity sometimes works to garner the sympathy of others otherwise we wouldn’t use it so often.
But more often then not, that sympathy is dis-ingenuine (fake) and only enables your disempowering behaviour or perspective that contributes to your demise.
More often than not.
